Campaign concept addressing the topic
of technology as a threat to privacy
MOBILE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM VAN
The primary outcome for the Techy
Toucan educational campaign is a
mobile van. The purpose of the van is to act as a
vessel to help spread awareness and knowledge surrounding online safety
to Australian schools.
Whilst the van helps to transport all
necessary equipment and resources
required to carry out teachings at
different schools (such as goodie bags for students who participate in the
program and pamphlets for schools to hand out), the van also provides
constant exposure on Australian roads when driving to and from locations.
It is through the inclusion of a mobile van that the campaign aims to instil feelings of excitement and anticipation as young school children see the vibrant Techy Toucan Van arrive at their school. With the colourful design and large logo and workmark, there really is no missing the Techy Toucan van!

WEBSITE
Closely supporting the campaign’s
primary outcome is the Techy Toucan website.
Through the program’s ingrained 7 step process, kids who participate in the
educational program will be able to
develop the skills and knowledge
needed to stay safe online.
Thanks to the widely accessible nature of technology within today’s society, the website positions itself as a resource which can be utilized not only in the classroom, but also at home.
In this way, the website provides others such as parents and teachers with the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the teachings promoted through the Techy Toucan campaign. In doing so, they can stay up to date and confidently support the young people around them who choose to engage with technology and the ever-growing online world.

PAMPHLET
Another supporting outcome developed as part of the Techy Toucan campaign is an educational pamphlet housing the 7 steps to online safety. These pamphlets have been designed to be handed out at schools upon visits from the Techy Toucan Van for students to take home to read.
With the same 7 step process carried over from the website and adapted into a printed form, students, teachers and parents are better able to access and master the knowledge and skills
required to stay safe online.

GOODIE BAG
On top of the previous existing
outcomes, the program is also set out to
provide students with a small goodie bag as a token of their participation in the mobile educational program.
With help from the Techy Toucan Van, the goodie bags will be safely
transported to each school that
organises a visit from the program. Included within each bag will be a
reusable drink bottle, ballpoint pen, badge pins and a cap.
Through the distribution of these
goodie bags, the campaign aims to leave a lasting impression on the kids who
are fortunate enough to take part in the program.
With the above in mind, each item
included within the bag will also provide further positive exposure for the
program once worn/ used by school kids all around Australia.

SOCIAL MEDIA
Once again making use of the 7 step process to achieving online safety,
a social media page has been designed to further support all existing outcomes.
Considering that social media plays a very large roll in achieving online safety, it is important that Techy Toucan has a platform where they can reach their desired audience in the correct format.
The presence of the social media page has been designed with the campaign’s overall identity in mind, and makes use of the chosen colour palette,
typography, icons and logo.
Supporting the program’s 7 step formula are additional features such as imagery of the program in action and a link to the Techy Toucan website. Through the inclusion of these features, this
outcome helps to tie the whole
campaign together to create one
succinct program for schools to invest and engage in.
